Avid Shock Leads use a recessed fitting for an anti-tangle sleeve, so the rig leaves through the centre of the lead rather than from one side. That arrangement keeps the setup neat and works with different rig presentations, including zigs and solid bags.
The traditional Shock Lead shape has a flat, square profile for boating rigs out, margin fishing and general angling. Its short body also fits PVA bag setups and standard lead-clip applications, while the Outline camo finish remains inconspicuous in clear conditions.
