Ester 12 Wafters Orange use High Performance Hookbaits' improved wafter mix in a barrel shape. The barrels are more buoyant than the previous mix, so they can be trimmed to alter how the hookbait sits over the hook.
The Ester-based citrus flavour has an Ethyl Butrate base and a strong fruit top note. Its citrus attractor package includes bespoke top-note flavours, Key-Tone powders, pure hemp oil, betaine, sweetener and N-Butyric acid.
A four-week steeping process is used for the Esterblend 12 flavour. The wafters are 13 x 10mm barrels, and Ester 12 is also made as 13mm and 15mm pop-ups.
