Made for ultra-long-range beach fishing, the Shimano Ultegra XR Surf T combines advanced carbon construction with an extra-fast action for anglers with developed, powerful casting techniques.

Its tubular tip has the stiff, responsive profile required to compress a heavy lead and bulky baits during aggressive pendulum or off-the-ground casts.

The High Modulus Full Carbon blank contains Spiral X and Hi-Power X, which reduce blank twist under pressure and increase tip recovery as the lead is released. Shimano's Cast Control Grip gives the bottom hand a firm hold while casting, and the rod has a Fuji DPS reel seat.

This 4.50m rod has three sections and a 250g casting weight. Fuji stainless-steel K-Type Alconite guides are fitted, providing a guide layout intended to prevent wind knots with thicker shock leaders or different line diameters.
