Product Information
Shakespeare's Ugly Stik is a spinning rod range for novice anglers and those seeking a reliable rod. Its graphite and fibreglass construction combines strength, sensitivity and balance.
The range runs from ultra-light and light lure rods for perch and trout to medium-heavy and heavy spinning rods for salmon and pike.
The GX2 has a lighter, more sensitive blank, reducing casting fatigue and helping you feel subtle bites. Shakespeare's Clear Tip uses the range's improved blank technology to increase tip sensitivity, so bumps and hits register through the rod tip.
One-piece stamped stainless steel Ugly Tuff guides have no ceramic inserts. A graphite reel seat and full EVA foam handle provide the fittings and grip, while the range carries a seven-year manufacturer warranty.
