Product Information
Daiwa keeps the foregrip short on the lightweight Labrax Bass Lure Rods so that your fingertip can reach the blank, which helps you detect bites during the retrieve.
The blanks are SVF Nanoplus carbon fibre combined with Daiwa's X45 wrap, which optimises casting energy and torque control. Fuji Titanium SiC guides, a Fuji stainless steel butt guide and a Fuji TVS reel seat add to the transmission through the blank.
The rods also have Daiwa's Braiding X and V-Joint Alpha.
Five two-piece rods make up the range. The 7ft 10in casts 7-28g and weighs 120g, and the 8ft 8in casts 3-19g at the same weight. There are two 9ft rods, a 7-24g at 125g and a 7-35g at 140g, and the 9ft 6in casts 12-42g and weighs 145g.
Transport lengths are 124cm for the 7ft 10in, 136cm for the 8ft 8in, 141cm for both 9ft rods and 150cm for the 9ft 6in.
