Product Information
The Daiwa 20 Saltiga LD 2 Speed is a two-speed lever-drag multiplier for sea boat anglers after hard-fighting fish. Its 3.1/6.3:1 gearing retrieves 48cm or 101cm of line per turn, while the ATD drag stays cool and maintains consistent maximum pressure through the fight.
A one-piece machined aluminium frame and side plate keep the bearings and gears precisely aligned, reducing flex and binding under load. Oversized polished stainless-steel main and pinion gears mesh with large spool bearings, reducing side load for smooth, near-silent winding.
The machined aluminium spool resists bending and expansion under high drag pressure, and the aluminium rod clamp secures the reel to the rod. Six CRBB bearings support consistent performance and longer reel life; the size 20 two-speed model weighs 535g.
It comes in sizes 20, 35 and 40.
