The Century C2D Spod Rod complements the C2-D carp rod in both appearance and performance, and it is made for long-distance casting. Its 13ft blank has a reduced diameter and increased power, drawing on Century’s earlier Spod and Marker rod experience.
Century SiC 50 guides are fitted throughout. The outer carbon 1K twill, black reel seat and red whippings match the C2-D carp rod, so the rod carries the same distinctive finish.
The rod has a 4 to 8oz test curve. It is intended for bait delivery at long range and can be used alongside shorter intermediate-distance rods such as Century’s NG or ADV models.
