The Drennan Vertex Whip Kit is a ready-to-fish whip kit for silverfish, F1s and small carp. It comes with an ideal rig built around 4lb 0.18 main line, a 3lb 0.15 hooklength and a size 16 barbless silverfish pellet hook. The hook is intended for single maggot.
For the 3m version, Drennan supplies a 3m Vertex Whip, a whip connector and a 3m Whip Rig. That rig carries a 0.5g Carp 7 pole float, while its 4lb main line is rated 1.8kg and the 3lb hooklength is rated 1.3kg.
The 4m version brings together a 4m Vertex Whip and connector with a 4m Whip Rig and 0.8g Carp 7 pole float. A Match Disgorger and Pole Hook Up complete the kit, with the Pole Hook Up there to secure the rig.
