Product Information

The Preston Supera X Distance Feeder Rod is the long-range branch of the Supera X feeder family. It is aimed at anglers fishing big reservoirs, wide rivers and open-water stillwaters where casting distance and line control matter.

The range uses X wrap carbon blanks with a powerful progressive action. That gives the rods the loading strength needed for heavier feeders while retaining a fish-playing curve once a fish is hooked. Preston fits oversized American Tackle distance guides to help line and shockleader knots travel cleanly during the cast. A Fuji reel seat and flat EVA and cork handle complete the casting-focused component package.

The distance models are supplied with three quiver tips, including lighter options for sensitivity and stronger tips for heavier feeder work. This gives more choice than a very stiff distance rod with only heavy tips.

This is not a close commercial F1 rod. It is for anglers who need reach, power and repeated accuracy with heavier feeders while still wanting a rod that remains usable when fish are being played near the bank.

It is the Supera X option for open water, stronger flow and long clips, where a normal feeder rod can run out of authority.
