Product Information
Wychwood’s Extremis reel combines a lightweight, robust carbon graphite body and rotor with a 9+1 stainless-steel bearing set for carp fishing. Super-slow oscillation lays line evenly, while the oversized drive shaft supports the reel’s smooth, powerful operation.
A precision fast drag uses carbon washers, so you can alter the pressure with minimal adjustment. The reel also carries a spring-loaded Hi-Impact line clip and a floating line guard, with a one-touch folding handle finished with a wooden grip.
The 6000 FD holds 420m of 0.25mm line, 290m of 0.30mm line or 210m of 0.35mm line, with a 4.6:1 ratio and 548g weight. The larger 8000 FD holds 430m of 0.35mm line, 330m of 0.40mm line or 210m of 0.50mm line, runs at 4.9:1 and weighs 618g.
