The Westin W3 PowerCast 3rd is designed for serious predator anglers casting large lures for big fish. Its Torayca high-performance carbon blank is both strong and lightweight, with a fast, responsive action for big softbaits, spinnerbaits and glidebaits.
The blank has the backbone to drive hooks home on powerful strikes while retaining sensitivity to stay in touch with the lure during the retrieve. It has a Carbon SKS-LS reel seat, Seaguide TUXBRAG guides and a high-quality EVA handle.
It comes in a 236cm 3XH model rated 60-150g and 251cm XH or XXH models rated 20-80g or 40-130g. All three rods are two-piece, with a Seaguide SCDHOOK#6 hook keeper.
