The Westin W2 Powerstrike has a fast action that gives the response for hard and soft lures when fishing for pike and zander. Its powerful backbone supports a positive hook-set, while the sensitive tip shows lure movement and delicate bites.
The blank uses 24/30 tonne high-performance carbon and carries a Seaguide XVS reel seat with Seaguide SXOHLSG premium guides. A split handle has premium-grade EVA, and a Seaguide Dhook hook keeper holds the hook when the rod is not in use.
It comes as a 7ft 3in MH model rated 40-100g or a 7ft 6in ML model rated 10-40g, both in two sections. The MH measures 218cm and weighs 165g, while the ML measures 225cm and weighs 144g.
