Product Information
The Savage Gear Revenge SG2 Vertical Baitcaster Rod is made for vertical fishing with a baitcasting reel, particularly when working softbaits and shads for zander and perch. Its short moderate-fast blank helps control lures presented directly below the boat.
A 24+30T high-modulus carbon blank connects directly to the Double-Lock reel holder, so vibrations and takes come through the rod. SeaGuide CCS guides with SiN rings, a comfortable EVA handle and smooth flex under load complete the build.
Both rods are 1.98m long and come in 14g to 35g or 20g to 65g casting weights. The lighter model weighs 134g, has ten guides and packs down to 104cm, while the heavier model weighs 143g. A Ready-To-Fish cover is included.
