Savage Gear Defiance Sg2 Light Game Rod

Product Information

Japanese Toray 24+30T carbon goes into the blank of the Savage Gear SG2 Light Game, a rod for light lure tactics aimed at trout, perch, chub and smaller pike or zander.

It casts smaller soft plastics, spinners, spoons, cranks and twitch baits, and has a balanced, lightweight feel with a fast yet forgiving action.

The carbon reel seat has a competition double lock that holds the reel securely and keeps the rod balanced, and the handle mixes EVA and hard plastic for grip in any weather.

The guides are Seaguide CCS stainless steel with SiN rings, which reduce line coils as the line leaves the guides.

It is a two-piece rod in 2.43m and 2.74m lengths, with casting weights of 3-12g and 4-16g. The 2.43m rod has a transport length of 122cm and the 2.74m rod 137cm. The rod is black and is supplied with its own rod bag.
