Rippton's JX1 Portable Rod Pod folds down to a compact iPad-sized shape for carrying. Its high-grade aluminium frame weighs 1,460g and resists corrosion in humid conditions. The design holds its shape without adding extra weight.

Stainless steel quick releases are compatible with 3/8-inch studs and are made for repeated use. They lock firmly after repeated adjustment, while Inconel X-750 springs provide four times the deformation resistance of standard rod-pod springs.

The JX1 has 18 adjustable angles in 20-degree increments, with click feedback during adjustment.

The one-press mechanism unfolds or collapses the frame in one second and needs no assembly. It is intended for quick, hassle-free carp fishing. Two threaded feet and two spiked feet hold the pod on soft mud, rocky banks and gravel shores.
