Penn’s Tidal X 453 K-Hybrid Sensitip is a surfcasting rod with a slim, lightweight blank made from 24T and 30T carbon. Its Hybrid Sensitip has a slimmer diameter than Penn’s regular solid carbon tips and is made for clear bite registration in calm water.

Carbon X-wrap technology reinforces the responsive blank, reducing twisting and improving casting accuracy. Saltwater-resistant Fuji O K-type guides and reel seat are fitted, while the X-shrink casting grip provides a secure grip when casting.

This 15ft model has a 100 to 300g casting weight and a fast action. It is made in three pieces, with Fuji stainless-steel O KW-type guides and a shrink-wrap handle.
