Product Information
The Penn Pursuit V Spinning Reels cover inshore, surf and boat fishing in six reel sizes from 2500 to 8000. The HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers and four sealed stainless steel ball bearings give the reel a smooth, reliable drag system.
A lightweight graphite body resists corrosion in tough conditions, while the machined, anodised aluminium spool is ready for braid tied straight to the spool without mono backing.
Instant Anti-Reverse is fitted, and the line clip helps manage line when you are rigging or putting the reel away.
Sizes 2500, 3000 and 4000 use a 6.2:1 gear ratio, the 5000 and 6000 use 5.6:1, and the 8000 uses 5.3:1. Drag ratings run from 10lb on the 2500 to 20lb on the 5000. Line Capacity Rings are fitted to the spool.
