The Korum KSI6 Remote Bite Alarm has six sensitivity levels, so bite indication can be fine tuned for different species and methods.
Its compact body has a deep U rest to hold the rod securely, while the adjustable 3/8-inch thread and O ring help align it on buzz bars or rod pods.
Volume and tone each have six settings, controlled through the Power/V and T/S buttons. A short press changes volume or tone, while holding the buttons for three seconds turns the alarm on or off and changes sensitivity.
One bleep gives the highest sensitivity and six bleeps the lowest.
A high-output speaker sits beneath a rain hood, and the blue latching LED shows both forward runs and drop backs. The alarm has a low-battery warning and runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included.
It can be paired with a receiver by holding both receiver buttons and engaging the bite indicator until the matching LEDs light.
