Product Information
Guru developed the X-Change Bait Up as a specialist feeder fishing rod for baiting up with big, heavy, feed-packed feeders. It is a two-piece rod made in 10ft and 12ft versions to cover the different distances anglers bait up at.
The action is powerful and fast, so the rod can be compressed and loaded to cast long range accurately. A rapid tip action helps to empty the feeder when the rod is jerked, and this can be used to release the bait at different depths.
Anti-frap guides prevent crack offs when punching heavy feeders out, and the anti-frap end eye stops line twisting round it on the swing back of a cast. The handle is long, with Guru's own butt grip.
The 10ft rod weighs 250g and has a casting weight of 1 to 170g. The 12ft weighs 315g and casts 1 to 280g. Both have a braid rating of 0.16mm, and the rods can be used with Guru's X-Change Bait-Up Braid and Bait-Up Feeders.
