Product Information

The Fox Rage Prism X Pike Spin sits in the mid tier of the Fox Rage lure rod range, above the Warrior series and built on a more specified blank construction. The NRD440 model is 240cm (7ft 10in), 2-piece, and rated for 40-120g lures. The blank uses a dual-modulus 24/30 Ton Carbon Cloth layup and a fast action.

Fox Rage publish the rod weight as 185g. The 40-120g lure weight range covers medium spinnerbaits and heavier shads at the lower end, through to large rubber fish and Replicants at the upper limit. Nine guides are fitted along the blank.

Fox Rage do not publish the ring insert material for this model. The reel seat is a carbon-style fitting with screw-lock hoods, and the handle uses split grey EVA grips, part of the Prism X cosmetic package that distinguishes the range from the all-black Warrior series. A 420D Oxford cloth rod bag is supplied.

Spare tip (NRD440/T) and butt sections (NRD440/B) are available to purchase separately from Fox Rage, which is useful to know if a section is damaged.
