The ESP Fusion Booms Quick Change Ronnie Rig uses a fused 0.5mm fluorocarbon hooklink with a breaking strain over 30lb.
Each boom is 7 inches long, sinks heavily to stay pinned to the lakebed without extra weight, and is practically invisible in water for rig-shy carp in clear conditions.
Dead straight from the packet, the stiff fluorocarbon pushes the hookbait away from the lead at full extension to support the bolt-rig effect. Its stiffness helps prevent tangles on the cast, while a Streamliner sleeve secures the loop to the quick-change swivel at the lead end.
It comes in 0.3g and 0.6g versions.
