The Daiwa Team Daiwa X Boat Rod is a boat and uptide rod made from Whisker carbon, a high modulus cloth reinforced with Silicon Carbide fibres. It comes in a 7ft 10in 12-20lb format and a 7ft 6in 30-50lb format, both 1+1 piece.
The blank combines Whisker carbon with tensile Mesh carbon placed in its high-compression zones, allowing maximum power to be applied. Daiwa's patented compound taper gives the tip a responsive, forgiving action.
Fuji aluminium oxide guides are set in the right number and positions to stop the line touching the blank as it bends. The blank resists torque, remains rigid and has improved balance.
