Product Information
Daiwa's Air Z AGS Match Rod comes as four models, with 10ft and 11ft rods for pellet waggler work and 13ft and 14ft rods for mainstream float work.
The blank uses Daiwa's X45X Full Shield, which counters torque to aid accuracy and put more of the rod's energy into the cast. It is made of HVF Nanoplus, a High Volume Fibre carbon with nano scale reinforcement through the resin for blank strength, and has V-Joint Alpha joints.
Daiwa's AGS carbon guides are around 70% lighter than metal equivalents, which gives light handling and a quick recovery.
The ALPS Air Pad reel seat is skeletal and light. Below it, a section of Duplon with the AIR logo meets a slim Armlock in cork, followed by a short section of Duplon that steps back up in diameter at the rear.
The 11ft rod is in two sections and the 13ft rod in three, and both have a casting weight of 3-15g.
