The Avid VTX Bite Alarm Sets are carp bite alarms with an IQ-Sense roller wheel that detects forward and backward movement. Eight sensitivity levels are intended to eliminate false bleeps.
Twin high-visibility LEDs come in green, blue, red and yellow, with an optional night light.
Soft-touch side buttons control power, LED settings and tone, while two dials adjust volume and sensitivity. A weather-sealed case protects the digital internals and each alarm runs on two AAA batteries.
Deep ears have rod-friendly rubber inlays, and the 3/8-inch no-twist thread has a locking collar and rubber washer.
The VTX EPS receiver provides signal transmission up to 150m and can pair with as many as eight alarms. SafeGuard sounds a warning when an alarm head is switched off, while the receiver’s bleep memory identifies the rod triggered last.
Each set includes alarm heads, a receiver, clip-on hardcases, a lanyard and screwdriver.
