ESP Cryogen Slammer Hooks are strong, versatile carp hooks with a medium-length shank, in-turned eye, wide gape and long straight point. They suit bottom-bait rigs and can also be used for a lower-lying Ronnie presentation.
The point is fine and needle sharp straight from the packet, including on the heavier sizes.
Sizes 4 and 5 use a wire diameter increased by 0.1mm, with heavy forging adding to their strength. Heat and cryogenic tempering are used for strength, point durability and controlled spring.
A slick PTFE coating, micro barb and enlarged eye support penetration, hook holds and knotless knots with thicker monofilament. Barbed and barbless sizes 4 to 8 are available.
