Daiwa made the Sandstorm range exclusively for sea anglers, and this rod holdall is 210cm long and 20cm wide. Zip-top access opens the main compartment from above, which makes it straightforward to load and unload rods at the start and end of a session.

Two external pockets, one 150cm long and one 130cm long, give separate space for longer items of kit. A third pocket, 155cm long, is made to carry a tripod and includes two pouches for its spikes, keeping them away from the rods.

A padded shoulder strap takes the weight on the walk to the beach or pier, which helps when rods and a tripod are packed into the same holdall. Everything for a beach session travels together, so there is less to carry by hand.
