Product Information

Matt black multi modulus carbon blanks are used for the ESP Tectrix Carp Rods 12ft, which come in 3.25lb and 3.5lb test curves and as a 4.5lb Spod & Marker rod.

The blanks are lightweight, responsive and well balanced, and the forward action is built for casting while keeping shock absorption for playing fish. ESP also makes the Tectrix in 10ft.

Lightweight stainless guides are set in a long-range ringing pattern from a 50mm butt guide to a 16mm tip. The rods have a DPS reel seat, a full shrink rubber handle with an ergonomic casting grip, and a moulded ESP line clip.

ESP describes the 3.25lb as an all-rounder and the 3.5lb as the long-range rod. The Spod & Marker rod works best with a Midi or Midi X Spomb, where 6 to 8oz gives optimum compression for long range. All rods include a pair of padded rod socks for protection in transit.
