Gardner Covert Tungsten Ronnie Sleeves are streamlined sleeves made from a tungsten polymer compound.
They fit size 12 QC or XT swivels used with Ronnie and German rigs, with internal features covering the upper half of the swivel while leaving the hook's rotational movement unrestricted. Each sleeve measures 12mm x 4.1mm.
The standard sleeve is unweighted for Ronnie rigs using shop-bought 12mm hookbaits and German rigs with balanced bottom baits, including wafters and snowman balanced tigers.
The heavy sleeve is made for custom or high-buoyancy hookbaits such as cork-balled pop-ups, and can also provide counterweighting on Hinged Stiff Rigs and naked Chods. Each packet contains eight sleeves.
