The Sonik Xtractor Recon is a longer-length variant of Sonik's Xtractor range, sharing the same build and properties but offered in 8ft and 12ft models with 2.5lb, 3lb and 3.5lb test curves, built on the same slimline progressive carbon blank.
It shares the Xtractor's core hardware – black M-Series DL guides with an anti-frap ceramic tip, a Japanese shrink-rubber handle and an anodised butt cap – but steps up with an 18mm reel seat and, on the 12ft, a 50mm butt guide for bigger reels and longer casts.
